Context

RCLR is an initiative of the Amsterdam School of Economics of the UvA and the NN Group. The Center studies the development and impact of changes in life expectancy. The research contributes to better risk management at insurers and pension funds.
The website should become a hub where research can be published and archived aswell as a place where people can learn about the risks to society in which they live longer. The challenge was to design a corporate identity and website that are sustainable for coming four years.

Design

The corporate identity ensures clarity and cohesion. By keeping the use of color to a minimum, the focus on the content increases. The logo has a word-mark with the acronym of the Center and a logo that symbolises the course of life. The logo can be used in various ways, large and small, so that all expressions have a reference to RCLR.
A clearly navigable website is the start of the RCLR knowledge platform. Because the website has a teaching role, it was of great importance that it was designed to be digitally accessible. The modular design makes it easy to further develop the website in the future without running into design problems.

Outcome

After the rollout of the corporate identity and the development of the platform, RCLR will be able to communicate clearly about news, research, events and more over the next four years.
